SPOILER FREE REVIEW! The trilogy comes to an end (again). Follows the typical Star Wars formula. Hero goes on a journey and fights evil while a space battle happens. Cameos, homage, references, and Easter eggs for all the nerds/fanboys. Yes, we finally get answers to the questions asked two movies ago. No forced diversity or new toys to sell this time. I'd honestly buy the DVD set. A lot of looking off to a distance kinda got annoying. Slightly hinted on slavery of Africans with Fin.

If you saw the trailer you saw the movie. Regardless this white woman being chased by a killer is exhausting. The movie addresses rape culture and sexual assault to empower women, but completely misses the mark because the women are constantly beat up and screaming for help. Don't forget the biracial black girl to force diversity (you know light skinned&big natural hair..). The antagonist is obvious and there was no plot twist. Just stupid decisions. The film was boring and trendy.

Extremely corny and predictable film. The in-game actors tried their best to show variety as they switched roles, but the execution was OFF. A few chuckles here and there. This is something for the kids to keep their attention. There must have been contract obligations for a sequel. Diversity was even more forced than before.

Is this on the level of a black classic like "Set It Off" or "Get Out"...maybe? In the current climate with police brutality, social injustice, and racial profiling this movie touches on all those topics. If you saw the trailer you saw the movie. It started off powerful but lost the momentum with a road trip, comic relief, stupid decisions, and then got really good at the ending. This is something specifically for the culture! Very black, diverse, and inclusive. But also kinda boring.

Singing, magic, love, death, and make overs. New characters to market as toys and make more money! This sequel fails to bring anything innovative. The plot was very predictable, and the songs were forgettable. Of course Olaf is the best part of the film. But on a brighter side I'm all for the love, sisterhood, and girl power though at some point a man did rescue them. The adult message shows the native people being violated by the white man. Genocide reminder just in time for Thanksgiving.

Trendy, predictable, all inclusive, girl power, exposition, forced diversity, dry humor, fashion, car chases, gadgets, a mole, and fight scenes. Change location then que a song from the sound track. This movie followed the basic spy formula. Though it was predictable this reboot/sequel/remake payed homage to the original and featured cameos (which is also trendy at this point). Overall a trendy film that kills men, but makes it okay. Not even one scratch on the girls even after they blew up....

DISRESPECTFUL! According to this movie Harriet Tubman was a psychic whom received consistent visions from God to help free slaves. The film softens slavery with no whips, rape, or murder just an occasional slam and "nigger" thrown around. The antagonist is Harriet's original slave master who's father died due to Harriet's prayer to strike him down. He hired a black bounty hunter to help track her. This films fails to inspire viewers and gives no justice to an historical black figure!

Femme Fatal film. At this point with the sequels, prequels, reboots, shows, and etc I am LOST in the timeline. Last I remember Khaleesi was Sarah Conner. Regardless this film brings a diverse female cast with age and ethnicity with a lot of action setting up the new generation while still paying homage to the original (which is currently trendy within movies). Starts off in Spanish with 30 minutes of subtitles. Another liquid terminator is hunting the team to get beat by the original again...

October is here so all the trendy cliché horror films are coming. Things started off pretty predictable; meeting all the white horror movie stereotypes and then it got boring, then confusing, and finally the plot twist had me like "Okay... I didn't see that shit coming!" Things start out as ghost beat the shit out of a sick kid when he is alone. No one believes him, but instead of monitoring him they leave him alone constantly while we are left confused until his snooping leads to a plot twist.

"Bigger and better bitch!" - Giganta. Strong female lead whom you never feel is in danger beats the crap out of people as she does cliché hero things like seeing the best in people even after they kill someone. It's never mentioned who actually killed that person either. Regardless the movie is cool and doesn't focus too much on an origin we already know. More like girl power and nerd easter eggs. Sprinkle in some LGBT mainstream and we have ourselves a trendy movie. +1 point DC Comics.

The shade between Maleficent and the Queen gave you Dynasty vibes. Michelle and Angelina delivered amazing performances that carried the weight of this movie. Very whimsical which is to be expected from Disney. The fight scenes were great. Outside of that the naïve Aurora will annoy you as well as not remembering the names of ANYONE. It is also very random whom they choose to show dying and not dying. Racism and discrimination is lightly tackled in this film as well. Sequel not needed.

A sequel 10 years later we didn't need. Pop culture references are a norm in comedy movies now. The magic the first film had just isn't here. You never feel like the main cast is in any real danger. The funny parts were in the preview. This would have done much better as a Netflix film. You can honestly skip this and choose to see Maleficent 2 which released the same day. No diversity so they stuck the woman from DareDevil in here (I do know her name just being funny). No creative kills either.

Will Smith wants us to take him serious again. No more comic relief, yelling, and sassy jokes at inappropriate time. Just action as he fights a clone of himself which has horrible CGI by the way. It's like he saw the movie Logan and combined it with Superboy and a little Looper. Which means things get pretty predictable, but overall entertaining. This would have probably been a better video game than a movie and the stunt doubles are obvious, but hey still entertaining.

Outside of watching Bruce Wayne's parents die AGAIN this movie solid. Watch a mentally ill man go through continuous traumatizing events until he finally snaps which is honestly justifiable. There are tiny Easter eggs for the comic book fans. Dark humor, slight brutality, and storytelling make for a great adaptation of The Joker. Gotham was always a terrible place; watch it be burned to the ground. The acting is great and you'll laugh at things you shouldn't like someone trying to unlock a door.

Trendy movie. JLo was amazing but it's no way someone would have the same lip ring for almost 10 years. Cardi B and Lizzo were in this movie for 5 minutes. Outside of that it was bare minimum nude. Mostly girls dancing in bikinis and dressed before they turned into scammers. Long story short this is a cute movie that gets boring. It teaches you to watch your weak friends and to not get greedy. Brings light to male date rape in the strip club scene. JLo looked amazing per usual. Keke Palmer <3

Keanu Reeves is back in what would actually make a great video game. Unkillable main character and random co-op missions. Amazing Halle Berry cameo. Watch John kill people in the most outrageous ways. Nothing, but action! You don't have time to look away from the film. He killed a man with a book and 2 men with a horse. These murders must be invisible because no one bats an eye in New York. Keanu shows he can still do his own stunts and won't be joining the cast of #TheExpendables any time soon.

The movie started off intense with gay bashing, suicide, child murder, and homage to the original. After that it went downhill. The scenes in-between the illusions were very boring. An alien serial killing clown cast illusions. The people hunting him know this and fall for them EVERY time. There was much better nostalgia when they were children..now it's just awkward. A lot of exposition, comic relief, and cringe moments. The grandma from #TheVisit also makes a cameo. Ending was corny as hell.

Cameos from everyone in the Batman Universe make this a cool film only for me to think about the meme that says Batman knows over 50 fighting styles and still gets beat-up. A film for fanboys. The DC animated universe usually is outstanding, but things are slowly going downhill honestly.

This movie was different from a lot of the recent films. Think "Get Out" combined with that one movie with Gabrielle Union trying to save her kids, but this time we get our typical white woman in distress. This chick has a mean right hook, but never kills her target. Some thrill, humor, and a lot of frustration. A film you won't see twice and should just watch on Netflix when you have a real date come over. Kind of reminded me of the film "You're Next".

Your annual shark movie. This time the shark is blind! Peer pressure allows this forced group of diverse one dimensional teenage girls to go diving in a cave they were just told a shark tooth was found. Regardless, watch them scream and panic as people are killed off by a shark whom never gets full. Sisterhood is the message I got in the end. At least no one punched a shark this year.

A movie over hyped by the trailer. You're better off watching Bad Grampa or Netflix's Big Mouth. The idea was there but the execution was awful. Three 12 year old naïve nerds do what ever it takes to fit in until they realize it's stupid. Of course they have a falling out and get back together towards the end. Predictable. I laughed three times.

From the perspective of a child I don't think the color scheme is enough to their target audience's attention. As someone who grew up with the original there are a few differences, but it works. Nala never had that many speaking parts, but Beyoncé did a great job. Timone and Pumba STOLE the show. The movie was honestly boring before they touched the screen. The CGI looked amazing I like the realistic look, but the movie was overall boring. Adult Simba's voice didn't work with Nala's honestly.

After saving the universe (Endgame) Spider-Man wants to live a cliché normal life with his high school friends. Marvel delivers action, comedy, and the same plot from Iron Man 3, but done a little different. The world is in danger and none of the Avengers are around to help. The most epic post credit scene of all the Marvel movies. Overall movie was pretty solid though the CGI was a bit PS4-ish. Prepare to nerd out.
    4.5/10
    4.5/10
Predictable plot. Everything happened as you knew it would happen. I didn't laugh at all. The movie focuses on a bully whom managed to make a successful career without being referred to HR or a harassment complaint. African-American representation with the normal pop culture references. Would a child watching this be inspired?

A trash modern remake of a movie that originally wasn't that great and gave us terrible sequels. Regardless the character design was HORRIBLE. The story is I taught my defective toy to kill and become shocked when he actually kills. Every corny movie cliché you can think of is here happens to for a predictable plot and ending. For this to be rated R the budget must be low and the kills were not creative. Easy pass and a film you should just watch on Netflix. Hopefully Annabelle is better.

A Woody focused movie with a strong female supporting lead and minimum participation from everyone else. Adults will see it because of the franchise, and children will see it because it's a kid's movie but I'm not honestly sure who the real target audience is. Cute movie though.

A new school mix on a nice throwback, but not as good as Superfly. The movie set-up is typical and predictable, but the homage and humor makes it work. Samuel L. Jackson carried this entire film.

Something corny for the kids. Thor and Valkyrie team up again with the same chemistry as their Avengers counterparts. H&M travel with horrible CGI, predictable plot, and no sense of danger. The answer is no; Will Smith is not in this movie. Feminist qualities are force-fed to you as a strong female is forced to be a supporting character to the arrogant male lead. Her discovering MIB is also reasonable because clearly they are sloppy. Featuring Beyoncé's twins as the same twins from The Matrix.

At this point it is very hit or miss with Netflix original films. With the power of social media and easy access to Netflix things go viral fast. This movie isn't even meme worthy. The CGI at the end is horrific. The concept was there, but the execution fell short. Daughter is naïve, but predictable. She meets al the white movie clichés and stereotypes without even meeting another person. Mother did not teach her well.
    4.5/10
    4.5/10
Cliché X-Men movie with cute action scenes. The storyline was extremely basic. Characters were introduced and you never even learned their name. Overall the movie was rushed and sloppy. A disappointing second attempted to capture the Dark Phoenix saga. From a fanboy perspective EVERYTHING WAS WRONG! Summer 2019 isn't looking good. Terrible ending to a weak franchise.

Eleven, Norma Bates, and Victor from Underworld team up to do the same plot from Dwayne Johnson's Rampage movie. Since you didn't see that either, a big corporation uses soundwaves to control monsters. We lose control of the monsters and they fight and destroy everything and we must rely on the one monster that has aided you in the previous movie but movie clichés the US Military is hardheaded so they have to learn through defeat. Watch this CGI disaster that would be a better video game.

Another movie overhyped by social media being carried by the producers of other successful films. This shit could have went straight to #Netflix. If you saw the trailer you saw the movie. Watch a middle-aged mentally unstable black women turn-up with some naïve small town teenagers in a sort-of but not really planned revenge plot. Not even a horror movie. Just a crazy bullied woman finally snapping in torture scenes you saw in the trailer....
    2/10

All the hood celebrities get together is a poorly budgeted ghetto fabulous movie. Cameos from popular black celebrities to make up for a shitty story and terrible plot. Stereotypes and African American clichés....per usual. Easy pass on Netflix.

    5/10
A dark rip-off of #Superman. The build-up of this movie was extremely boring until things got dark. Powers were not really explained. The only clue we got was a brief explanation of how wasp can't raise their own young. This movie slightly reminds me of Chronicle on how the idea is there, but the execution is off.
    5.5/10
    5.5/10
Solid representation as the Disney cartoon is brought to life. Strong female supporting character per usual. This movie has a nice message with a corny presentation. A lot of singing in between, but nothing to the level of Frozen's "Let it Go". Will Smith is Will Smith as a genie though we have seen him as everything at this point. Something cute for the kids with no real longevity.
    3/10
    3/10
A hood movie with a slight budget. High school students pay for their childhood murder mistake. All the horror movie clichés with a bit of mental health mixed in. Watch each of these one dimensional characters have fun as the movie is more focused on their partying than the actual killer.
    4/10
    4/10
The tools were there! Cameos from each Pokémon generation. The CGI did it's best to give different skin textures, but overall it turned out to be a Ted version of Pokémon. The character development was minor and the plot was predictable. The only joy of this movie were the featured Pokémon.
    8/10
    8/10
The movie started off very emotional with a reminder of a major event. No time was wasted progressing the plot, connecting characters, and giving us answers. All that begin to greatly slow down for character development and a stroll down memory lane. When the plan is finally in motions things are both interesting and cliché. This was one of the most epic fights with signature moves and fanboy fantasy. Inspiration and representation play a huge part. Great superhero movie and chapter ending.
    3/10
    3/10
A reboot we didn't ask for where us viewers who saw the original are still young. The special effects make-up artist who designed Hellboy did a trash job. CGI in this movie is trash. The movie overall was trash. It was nice seeing Mila Jovovich again; her character was very one dimensional. Don't waste your time, just watch the original or animated movie.
    2/10
    2/10
Honestly this movie was trash. The family makes very stupid irrational decisions before being beat up by a little girl. Not at all scary. Just bad parents making cliché movie decisions like moving to the middle of nowhere for a "fresh start" without knowing the history of the property they purchased. Creepy old man, weak female support character, weird dad, and untalented child actors. Straight to #Netflix !

Trendy and corny with some cringe mixed in between. This is the second superhero origin story this month as DC vs Marvel still compete to dominate movies. This movie was corny until the end with random cameos. You chuckle in-between scenes and that's about it. Cliché bullies and runaway kid. The CGI is a little off as well.
    5/10
    5/10
A highly anticipated movie due to the success of "Get Out" with a nice concept, but poor execution. An unrelatable black family does everything to piss the viewers off as they are hunted down by their clones. Watch as they make every irrational decision to piss you off. The comic relief is misplaced as well as you lose all respect for the father. The movie ends with a predictable plot twist.
    7.5/10
    7.5/10
A prequel to the superhero dominating Marvel Cinematic Universe that has everyone curious to how this heroine will go up against Thanos. This movie doesn’t sexualize our heroine nor force a romance. Just a superhero origin story of a witty humorous female (like Ironman). The film teaches girls to get back up after being knocked down with a predictable plot twist and Star Wars like battles. Laugh a little and appreciate cameos of minor characters appearances with fast action scenes.

Terrible wigs and horrible make-up. #TheBoondocks already addressed the issue with this film series. I promise you this was shot in less than 1 week. The Instagram celebrities was an attempt to be trendy. Overall don't waste your time watching. I did chuckle a few times though.

A movie heavily advertised that no one really saw. If you watched the trailer you saved 2 hours because that is basically the movie with fillers in-between. Action packed with PG-13 kills. Imagine "Ghost in the Shell" with big dollbaby eyes as a slim female cyborg destroys giant robots with unnecessary weapons with her martial arts.

I actually learned something from this movie. I laughed at a few parts too. This was a modern, trendy, pop culture savvy remake of a movie we didn't ask for. I love a strong black women. This was relatable then got corny. Tracy and Taraji play their usual character roles. Really a movie for #BlackGirlMagic night out.
    6/10
    6/10
The movie was off to a great start but got worse over time. Image a white woman version of "The Equalizer". A skilled body guard has to protect a bratty cliché rich white girl. Both characters are very transparent. Plot get predictable as characters focus on things that are not important like, "I thought you were my friend". Starring the woman we love from #WhatHappenedtoMonday and an actress we will forget.

Basically a prequel to the television series “The 100”. It reminded me of that one movie with Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt. This is your everyday post-apocalyptic scenario.

Watch as the same Justice League that beat Darkseid is now so useless that after Superman died that new “supermen” were needed to keep the planet safe (which they do a terrible job at). With #YoungJustice back on air and doing well the animated cinematic universe needs to step it up. Overall corny and disappointing.

This is a fanboy movie only! This is simply a two hour episode of #DBZ with a budget so high parts are in 3D. This movie is extremely colorful. No character was given a full backstory so you must watch the show to understand the movie. It had a serious tone before Goku got on the screen and made jokes about everything. Watch Freeza be the king of petty as everyone else does signature moves while not helping each other until the end. Movie actually has fighting and less talking than the show!

The trilogy we were promised since the release of Unbreakable. White privilege as two super humans wrestle (even though one is a clearly a serial killer), but not killed by police . Meanwhile the brains try to out whit each other. Plot twist and character cameos.

An almost fat Keanu Reeves goes #DrStrange without any magic as he pushes the limits of loyalty from his co-worker as well as mad science after a stupid car accident. (Stop driving long distances in storms and getting distracted). This movie is very boring outside of horrible CGI at the end. Should have aired on #SyFy instead of theaters. Why didn't the wife notice the van was missing?

A PG-13 version of the Saw series using the name of something that was trendy in 2016. #EscapeRoom tried to give you diversity with a cast of PTSM victims who make stupid decisions and never speak up to help each other. A good line from the film to describe the movie is "A really fun game with the world's meanest people". Just pass on this and watch the actual Saw series.

All the hood celebrities get together is a poorly budgeted ghetto fabulous movie. Cameos from popular black celebrities to make up for a shitty story and terrible plot. Stereotypes and African American clichés....per usual. Easy pass on Netflix.

A dark rip-off of #Superman. The build-up of this movie was extremely boring until things got dark. Powers were not really explained. The only clue we got was a brief explanation of how wasp can't raise their own young. This movie slightly reminds me of Chronicle on how the idea is there, but the execution is off.

An almost fat Keanu Reeves goes #DrStrange without any magic as he pushes the limits of loyalty from his co-worker as well as mad science after a stupid car accident.
